Do you have to wear a mask at the Greensboro Science Center?
Are masks required? Every guest age 5 and older entering the GSC will be required to wear a face covering in compliance with Governor Cooper’s Executive Order.
How much does it cost to get into the Greensboro Science Center?
Adults were 13.50 and children were 12.50. Under 2 is free. If you are a member of another science museum you may get in free if they partner with each other.
How long does it take to go through the Greensboro Science Center?
There’s several areas to explore. Depending on the age of the people in your party and their interest in various exhibits it will probably take 2-4 hrs. It takes us (me and 2 kids ages 9 & 10) about 3 hrs. over a year ago.

Glenn Dobrogosz is CEO of the Greensboro Science Center. He spoke to Blooloop about the renovations and expansion detailed in its master plan. The Gateway Project will include up to $45 million in capital improvements.
Is Greensboro Science Center dog friendly?
The Greensboro Science Center welcomes all ADA service animals or those in a recognized training program. There are currently no access limitations for guests with service animals, but this is subject to change pending any potential animal concerns.
How old do you have to be to work at the Greensboro Science Center?
18 years old
Must be at least 18 years old as of the internship application due date. Applicants should currently be studying or have received a degree in a field related to the desired placement. Accepted interns must pass a criminal background check.
