What is Kraurosis Vulvae?
Kraurosis vulvae is a rare disease occurring about the time of the menopause or later. It is characterized by intense itching of the vulva and various stages of inflammation and leukoplakia of the labia minora, clitoris and vaginal orifice. The diseased tissue is brittle and consequently fissures readily.
