LOW-RIDE. The low-ride UBL (Universal Belt Loop) option is approximately 1.5” lower than the mid-ride option and is considered the “tactical” choice. The low-ride UBL places the butt of the pistol just below the belt line and is considered the fastest position to draw from because it is closest to the hand.
