Is it normal for anemones to close up?

It’s normal for anemones to close at night, some more then others but not really a problem. My bta’s deflate at night, my white tipped one deflates about an hour after the lights off and my gbta deflates around midnight.

How do you get anemone out of hiding?

Place the rock in medium indirect flow. The anemone should be gently swishing around in the current. It may move a few times before it finds a spot that it likes, but if it goes to a place where it can’t receive optimum flow or light, go ahead and move it.
