Yes, there’s gains in both performance and power efficiency with something like an RX570 – and newer game compatibility, optimization will be benenficial. Personally though, I’d look to a minimum RX580/590 or 1660Super (maybe a 1660) as the minimum upgrade, provided the 7970 remains functional.
