The Simon XT panel comes standard with 40 wireless zones, or it can be set up with 38 wireless zones and two built-in hardwired supervised burglary zones (normally-closed loop only).

The Simon XT is a wireless all-in-one alarm panel from Interlogix. It includes a touch-button keypad for controlling the system. However, the system is greatly upgraded by simply adding a cellular communicator.

- Disconnect the battery. Open the back cover of the Simon XT System, and disconnect the backup battery that is connected to the circuit board.

- Complete the process.
