How do I claim my austudy online?
Follow the next steps:
- Sign in to myGov and go to Centrelink.
- Select Make a claim or view claim status from your homepage.
- Select Get started from the Students, Trainees and Apprentices category.
- Select Austudy.
- Answer the Eligibility check questions first.
- Start your claim and answer the questions about your situation.
How long does austudy claim take?
If you don’t have a waiting period, you’ll get your first payment within 2 weeks, if your claim is successful. You can expect to hear from us within 42 days of submitting your claim. We’ll give you an estimated completion date when you submit your claim online.
