Can you take the door off a dog crate?

Crates have long been a space for dogs to make their own. Our newest design allows you to remove the door at home so your dog can enjoy the benefits on his crate space without you having to put him there! As always, no tools are required to assemble the crate or remove/add the door.

Is locking a dog in a crate cruel?

How do I get my dog’s crate out of the tray?

Pull out the removable tray at the bottom. Wire crates tend to have plastic trays on the bottom. Slide it out, and clean it separately from the rest of the crate. Removing the tray will help make cleaning easier. Some crate designs do not have a removable tray.

If you have a wire crate, our first piece of advice is to zip-tie all of the sides of the crate. All four corners should each have two zip ties (one at the top and one at the bottom). However, wire crates can be dangerous, as dogs can get stuck in them trying to escape. We do not recommend wire crates for most dogs.
