The Cassadaga Public Beach, located on Park Avenue, is open to all from May to October. The Summer Concert Series is held at the beach throughout the summer and the village’s triathlon/KBR events start and end at the beach. Swimming is allowed when lifeguard is on duty.

Why is Cassadaga Lake closed?
The Cassadaga Lakes’ boat launch located on Dale Drive is closed for motorized boat launches until spring 2021. It was closed by the Department of Environmental Conservation following a recent accident that caused structural damage to the ramp.

Alcohol has always been banned at Woodlawn Beach, save for inside the restaurant and a separate tiki bar area with liquor permits. The town is hiring six new security guards at Woodlawn Beach to remind people of the alcohol ban. Those guards will also check coolers coming on to the beach.
