Are sinnis scooters any good?
This is a massively comfortable bike to ride around, so it’s almost the perfect commuter. Arguably a bike for all weather, with neutral riding position, comfy 800mm seat, economic enough at 80-100MPG… There’s even a very useful USB port on the dash for a sat nav or phone!

What engine does sinnis use?
2020 Sinnis Apache 125SM Power and torque 11bhp is three bhp down on the latest water-cooled Japanese engines and there’s none of the midrange-boosting variable valve-timing technology you’ll find on the latest Yamaha R125. Sinnis use the same air-cooled engine in all their 125cc range.

It is a proper Cruiser bike, the sound, although I noted annoyed me, would be great for teenagers. Power is sufficient and should not get a rider into significant difficulty. The Hoodlum has a good centre of gravity, so handling is a breeze.

How good is the sinnis terrain?
The Sinnis Terrain 125 is a great learner bike for full-size riders at any price. The engine is as quick and smooth as the opposition, it’s easy and confident to ride, has a lot of useful equipment as standard and is built to last. Even without all that kit, it’s a very good price for what is a very good bike.
